The expenses associated with these services should be paid for upfront by the customer and then refunded after the fact, accompanied by evidence of the validity (transaction invoices). We will reimburse the cost to the maximum amount set out below.

In some instances it is necessary to reserve the hotel room locally, and then get a reimbursement in the amount of USD $50 per person for up for two consecutive nights. If you require additional nights because of the inability to book at the airport for an alternative, they must be arranged beforehand with Universalholidays.

Unless otherwise prohibited by relevant law, any claim must be filed within two (2) years after the date it arose or accrued.
WAIVER OF TRIAL BY JURY AND CLASS, REPRESENTATIVE, AND PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTIONS
You acknowledge and understand your rights, and any dispute regarding class, mass, representative, private attorney general action or similar proceedings must be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction.
You Understand and Agree That by Accepting These Terms and Conditions, We Are Each Waiving the Right to a Jury Trial. We All Agree That Any and All Disputes Must Be Filed in the Parties’ Individual Capacity. We Also Waive the Right to Participate in a Class, Mass, Representative, Private Attorney General Action or Proceeding, or Similar Proceeding, With Respect to the Claims Covered by This Provision, Whether Such Claims Are Subject to Mandatory Arbitration or Are Brought in Any Other Court or Tribunal, Including Small Claims, as Set Forth Below.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND MANDATORY ARBITRATION OR SMALL CLAIMS COURT
To resolve disputes with universalholidays, send a written claim description to our toll-free number or support@universalholiday.us. Negotiate in good faith and not initiate arbitration or court proceedings unless unable to resolve within 60 days and make good faith efforts.
If we fail to resolve the dispute within 60 days after our good faith attempts, either you or we may initiate arbitration or small claims court procedures.
Except for claims brought on an individual basis and duly filed in a small claims court, all claims must be settled through binding arbitration initiated by AAA.
Small claims court proceedings If your claim is within the scope of a small claims court the parties can decide to refer the matter to a small claims court, instead of arbitration. The other party can seek to resolve a dispute in a small claims court located in the county where you reside or in the small claims court located in the closest to your home as well as make a claim in a small claims court located in New York County, the State of New York, USA. The parties can submit their cases in small claims courts, without making an application with AAA. When a case has been filed with AAA however, before the arbitrator is officially appointed by AAA an individual can write a letter to the opposing party as well as AAA that it would like the case to be decided in a small claims court. When this notice is received, AAA will administratively close the case without further investigation. Any dispute over whether a claim is within the area of jurisdiction of a small-claims court will be decided by the court and not an arbitrator. If there is conflict, the arbitration process is closed until a ruling by the smaller claims court ruling that the claim does not fall in its area of jurisdiction.
Arbitration is less formal than a lawsuit in court. Arbitration involves a neutral arbitrator rather than a judge or jury, and court review of an arbitration ruling is extremely limited. Except as stated below, an arbitrator can award individual damages and relief in the same way as a court can. An arbitrator should follow the Terms & Conditions as a court would.
The arbitration will follow the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules and the AAA Consumer Due Process Protocol, as revised by this Agreement. The prevailing party will pay US $200, and the Company will bear all additional costs. If frivolous allegations are found, the arbitrator may impose costs and attorneys' fees.
Arbitration under these Terms & Conditions is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C., Secs. 1-16). Parties must comply with rules such as having a single arbitrator approved by AAA, choosing the form of arbitration, deciding if an in-person hearing is necessary, and participating in the hearing by phone. The arbitrator cannot award incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, punitive or exemplary damages, injunctive or declaratory relief, or consolidate multiple claims. The arbitrator may not preside over representative or class proceedings unless mutually agreed upon in writing.
- The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator approved by or otherwise affiliated with AAA;
- The party initiating the arbitration shall choose the form in which they would like the arbitration to be conducted: via telephone, online, solely based on written submissions, or at an in-person hearing; notwithstanding the foregoing, if either party requests an in-person hearing:
- The arbitrator will determine whether an in-person hearing is required, if the arbitration should take place over the phone, online, or only through written submissions.
- The hearing will take place at a site that is mutually agreed upon, or if the parties are unable to agree, at a location that the arbitrator chooses that is fairly convenient for both parties, should the arbitrator determine that a hearing is required, and
- Unless the arbitrator determines otherwise, either party may choose to participate in an in-person hearing over the phone;
- Nothing may be awarded by the arbitrator:
- consequential, incidental, or indirect damages—including losses incurred due to missed profits—or
- except as allowed by law, punitive or exemplary damages, and the parties forfeit any claim to recover any of the damages mentioned in the subparagraphs
- Unless both parties agree otherwise in writing, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over any type of representative or class proceeding. The arbitrator may only grant injunctive or declaratory relief in favor of the party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party's claim.
All questions concerning jurisdiction, arbitrability, and the interpretation, applicability, creation, existence, validity, extent, or enforceability of this mandatory arbitration provision shall be decided by the arbitrator. Any claims that the arbitrator finds fall beyond the purview of this mandatory arbitration clause must only be filed in federal or state courts in New York County, New York, USA. This Mandatory Arbitration provision will be deemed void in its entirety if subparagraph (f) above is determined to be unenforceable. Any court with jurisdiction may enter a judgment based on the arbitrator's award. Parties may nevertheless seek temporary remedies from a court with the proper authority in order to support arbitration, notwithstanding this Mandatory Arbitration provision.

ADVICE TO INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS
The provisions of the treaties known as the Montreal Convention and the Warsaw Convention may apply to passengers' entire journey, including the portion entirely within the countries of departure and destination, if they are starting a journey with an ultimate destination or making a stop in a country other than the country of departure. The Conventions control and restrict the carriers' liability to passengers for death or personal injury in the majority of circumstances. Typically, getting insurance from a private provider provides further security. Any restriction on the carrier's responsibility imposed by the Warsaw or Montreal Conventions has no bearing on this type of insurance.
Please speak with a representative of your insurance provider or airline for more information. Please click here for further information regarding the carrier's liability under the Warsaw convention.

OUR FEES AND EXCEPTIONS
Chart will be the same and will do in the end.
CHANGES TO FLIGHTS ALREADY PURCHASED
All itinerary modifications are subject to airline fare regulations, whichever is more stringent. The majority of our tickets, hotels, automobiles, packages, and cruises do not permit date or name changes once the booking is finalized. When a supplier modifies the original itinerary at the customer's request or due to changes in the supplier's schedule, Universalholidays is not liable for any bookings or reservations that are made or confirmed to you.
MULTIPLE AIRLINE ITINERARIES
Examine the terms and conditions of each airline carefully before making multiple airline reservations as they all have different limitations, guidelines, and costs. The customer may be liable for any fees or ticket charges if another airline causes an interruption to one of their flights. Printing the outbound and return sections of your e-ticket confirmations before you leave is advised. You should also provide proof of your return ticket when you check in. We suggest to visit respective airline official website to learn its terms and condition policy.
CANCEL AND EXCHANGE
Booking at Universalholidays is 100% non-refundable. When an airline permits cancellations in specific circumstances, the credit can be used to the same traveler's subsequent ticket purchases on the same airline. The airline supplier's credit typically has an expiration date after which it becomes invalid.
We advise you to speak with a customer support representative about any further credit restrictions. Any such reservations for which cancellations may be allowed must be made by phone to our customer support center at least 24 hours before the first flight segment's scheduled departure time. We do not promise that anything will cancel.
You will be expected to pay any relevant airline fines, any applicable post-ticketing costs from Universalholidays, and the fare difference (if any) when you are ready to make your next reservation and want to use your airline credit. We have no influence over any airline's fare rules, policies, or procedures, which govern all such adjustments.
CANCEL AND REFUND
After 24 hours after booking, the majority of our hotel rooms, prepaid car rentals, airline tickets, vacation packages, and service fees are not refundable. Trip protection insurance is refundable if you phone our customer care center to cancel and your trip hasn't started within ten days of your purchase. Cancellations must only be made via phone. Refund claims are only eligible for consideration if the following requirements are satisfied:
You are not a "no show" (the majority of "no show" bookings are not eligible for any waiver from suppliers for refund processing); you have applied for a cancellation and refund with us; if the fare rules allow for cancellation and refunds; and we are able to secure waivers from suppliers to process this requested cancellation and refund.
Refund requests follow a step-by-step procedure that is governed by the supplier's policies. Following receipt of the request, Universalholidays collaborates with the supplier to produce a waiver in accordance with the supplier's policies. The credit card statement may not show the refund for 60 to 90 days. Refunds may be subject to penalties from suppliers, and post-ticketing services may incur additional costs. Universalholidays will reimburse the post-ticketing service fees related to the agent-assisted refund request in the event that the supplier does not complete the refund; however, the booking fees for the initial trip reservation or booking will remain unrefunded.
When a cancellation request is made over the phone, the email provided during the booking process receives a special Cancellation Password. The password expires in three hours, and if it's not available, you'll need to submit the request once more in order to get a new one.

FARE CHANGES AND POST PAYMENT PRICE GUARANTEE
If the price of the flight fare or any other change occurs before your form of payment is successfully processed and approved, you may be informed of it. Only then will you have the option to accept or deny this transaction. You will not be charged in the event that you choose to refuse this transaction. Our Price Promise Following Payment: We promise to uphold the entire final quoted price of the airline tickets upon the successful acceptance and processing of your credit/debit card payment, subject to any modifications or fluctuations in the cost of air travel.
PAYMENT ACCEPTANCE POLICY
Please be aware that the final price may appear on your credit or debit card in numerous charges. We will contact you within 24 hours if your credit/debit card payment or other means of payment is not completed or approved for any reason (it may take longer than 24 hours for non-credit/debit card payment methods). If the price of the flight fare or any other change occurs before your form of payment is successfully processed and approved, you may be informed of it. Only then will you have the option to accept or deny this transaction. You will not be charged in the event that you choose to refuse this transaction. Once we have successfully accepted and processed your payment (credit/debit card), we promise that we will honor the complete final quoted price of the airline tickets, regardless of any changes or fluctuations in the price of air fare.
Please keep in mind that all hotel, car rental, and tour/activity reservations are only confirmed after you get complete confirmation details via email to the address you supplied when making your reservation. In rare circumstances, prepayment may be required for confirmation.
TICKET DELIVERY
Universalholidays provides e-Tickets for the majority of its itineraries, but paper tickets are occasionally issued. Shipping costs are displayed before booking, and buyers can opt out of purchasing tickets to avoid paying shipping costs. Universalholidays does not accept responsibility for delivery provider errors and does not guarantee redelivery on schedule. Incorrect addresses may result in extra fines. Payment is charged to the credit card used for payment.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS
- All reservations and fares are not ensured until ticketed by the vendor. Reservations for hotels, auto rentals, and vacation packages are not confirmed until you receive an email with a confirmation number.
- When you use your credit or debit card to make a purchase, we request an authorization for the amount of your expected transaction (a temporary "hold" on the money). If we are unable to confirm your booking for any reason, you will not be charged, and we will request that your credit or debit card bank release the hold; until then, monies subject to the hold will not be available to you for other purposes.
- Every credit card must have a verifiable billing address in the United States, Canada, or another nation. Click the drop down option in the check-out page to view a list of countries that accept credit cards.
- If your credit card is denied for whatever reason, we will contact you within 72 hours. Submitting a payment card does not ensure tickets.
- There are numerous reasons why your credit or debit card may not have been accepted or charged. Examples include: the airline was unable to confirm the booking, the fare increased after payment information was provided and prior to ticketing, or adequate funds were not available on the credit card. In the event that the tariff has increased, you will be given alternative options and the chance to cancel the reservation at no cost. When the booking is ticketed at the price initially quoted to you, the ticket is non-refundable and non-cancelable.
- Universalholidays does not take any responsibility if your credit or debit card is unable to charge.
- Strict security protocols are used by Universalholidays while processing credit card payments. Any fraudulent transactions are reported to airlines, federal and state law enforcement, and airport security.
- After completing the purchase and receiving your tickets and/or other products by email confirmation or shipping, you agree to be responsible for any and all credit card payments and to waive your right to challenge charges. In the event that you have legitimately made a purchase on our website and there is a chargeback or credit card dispute, you agree to reimburse Universalholidays.
- The majority of credit card transactions made to our customer service department over the phone are documented and can be used as proof in the event of a disagreement.
- When a user accepts these terms and conditions and proceeds with the purchase, an online credit card transaction is approved on their behalf.
- In cases where our systems flag particular transactions as high risk, we won't proceed with processing them until our credit card verification team certifies that it's safe to proceed. We could get in touch with your bank or you in order to verify the legitimacy of such transactions.
CREDIT CARD DECLINES
Within 72 hours of your transaction being processed, we will try to send you an email to let you know if your credit card is declined. We will try to process your money again in less than a day, so please do not make a new reservation. If your credit card has been denied, the transaction won't be completed. Reservation specifics, including fare, are not guaranteed. You have the right to cancel the reservation at no cost to you in the event that the tariff changes. For this, there won't be any more expenses for services.
SEATS, MEALS, FREQUENT FLYER AND OTHER SPECIAL REQUESTS
Service costs are not refundable, and special requests for meals, seats, or frequent flyer status are just that—requests. It is advised to validate these requests with your airline immediately before your intended departure date, as results cannot be guaranteed.
BAGGAGE POLICY AND FEES
You will be responsible for any extra baggage fees that each airline may charge if you have more luggage than you need. Nowadays, the majority of airlines levy baggage fees, even for the first bag that is checked in. To save money, we advise packing small. Please visit our Baggage Fees page to find the baggage fees for each airline. Depending on the size and weight of the luggage, baggage costs can range from $15 to $200 or more per checked bag. Once you use this service, you must pay these fees straight to the airline. Although we try to keep the baggage fees table current, we advise you to speak with the airline directly to find out the most recent information on check-in costs and luggage policies.
BAGGAGE POLICY ON CONNECTING FLIGHTS
You might need to pick up your bags at the connecting airport and check in again in order to continue your travels when connecting flights involve two or more airlines. If you have extra luggage in these circumstances, you will be responsible for paying any fees that each airline may charge. Nowadays, the majority of airlines levy baggage fees, even for the first bag that is checked in. To save money, we advise packing small. Please see our Baggage Fees page to find the airline baggage check-in fees.
AIRLINE OPTIONAL SERVICES AND PRODUCTS
Depending on the airline, we might provide optional airline services and goods to travelers on specific flights, like reserved seats and checked baggage.
The airline(s) will supply you with these optional services and goods; the cost of purchasing them will be extra to the cost of the ticket and will depend on the availability and usage policies of each airline. We do not promise that the airline(s) will honor your requests for such extra services and products, and any service fees we charge are not refundable for services provided. We highly advise you to inquire about any limitations that may apply to the optional goods and services you purchase via us and the airline(s) that operate your flight(s).
We provide optional services and goods to airlines as a marketing agent, and our obligation is restricted to the cost of the purchases. If there are any problems using or accessing the service, we suggest getting in touch with the operating carrier.
AIRLINES SCHEDULE CHANGES/FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS
OVERBOOKING OF FLIGHTS
Seat availability problems may arise from overbooked airline flights, as per the carrier's contract of carriage. So, always check flights before booking to avoid overbooking issues.
UNACCOMPANIED MINOR
For kids (ages 16 to 18; age may vary by airline) traveling unaccompanied, each airline has its own rules and guidelines. The following details are subject to change at any time, so please check directly with the airline regarding the rules, fees, and age restrictions for unaccompanied minors:
- Unaccompanied minors may not be permitted to fly without an adult on certain airlines.
- Only non-stop flights are permitted for unaccompanied kids by certain airlines.
- When two or more accompanied minors are traveling together, anyone under the age of eighteen does not qualify as an adult.
- It's possible for many airlines to charge extra at check-in.
To confirm the policies and limitations for traveling unaccompanied by a minor, you may contact respective airlines to know more about unaccompanied minor policy.
VISA AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
It is recommended that all clients confirm their travel documentation (entry/transit visas) for the nation they are entering or passing through. You can obtain trustworthy information about traveling abroad by visiting www.travel.state.gov and contacting the consulate or embassy of the country or countries you are visiting or passing through. If the required travel documents are not available and you are refused entry or transit into a country, Universalholidays will not be held liable.

Upgrades and standbys are typically not allowed. Upgrades and standby are exclusively the airlines' responsibility.
The accumulation of frequent flyer miles is not permitted on a large number of our reduced tickets. The airlines will receive all requests for seats. Note that not every seat request will be fulfilled. Please get in touch with the airline directly if you have any particular needs, such as a wheelchair or stretcher assistance, or if you wish to know your seat assignment instantly.
We preserve the right to refuse requests for travel to locations that the US government has imposed travel restrictions on. Duty or departure tax may be imposed on a passenger leaving from foreign locations such Mexico, the Caribbean, the UK, and Australia. These taxes, which are not included in the original cost of the ticket, are collected by the local government at the airports.
In the event that travel receipts are needed for reservations made more than a year ago, some administrative fee will apply.
HUMAN ERROR
In the event that one of our agents makes a mistake during the booking process, we will try our best to fix it right away. In addition to a $50 coupon that may be redeemed for future Universalholidays purchases, Universalholidays guarantees to reimburse up to the full amount of service fees that it has received for that reservation. This commitment is valid for a full year. If you find any issues with your itinerary, you have 24 hours to let us know. Universalholidays shall not be held liable for these inaccuracies after the first 24 hours.
ITINERARY RE-CONFIRMATION
The passenger who made the reservation directly with a customer service representative or through our online booking system is accountable for checking and verifying the names, dates, flight numbers, airlines, and routing, including any changes to the airport. You have four hours from the moment your booking was finished to notify a Universalholidays customer support specialist if you find any inconsistency in your schedule. We will consider the reservation you have made to be acceptable to you and will not be held responsible for any discrepancies in it if you do not get in touch with us by phone within four hours of trip booking.
We request our passenger(s) to kindly double check the itinerary then save it to their convenient device.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
The carrying of hazardous items on one's person or in luggage onto an aircraft is prohibited under federal law. According to 49 U.S.C. 5124, a violation carries a maximum penalty of $250,000 in fines as well as five years in jail. Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, oxygen bottles, tear gasses, and radiopharmaceuticals are a few examples. Certain smoking materials carried on your person and limited amounts (up to 70 ounces total) of toiletries and medications carried in your luggage are exempt from this rule. Payment, Taxes and Fees
Taxes and fees will be charged to your debit or credit card in connection with processing your hotel transaction. In some places, government-imposed service fees or other costs that are mandated by law to be collected by the hotel but are not remitted to the taxing authorities directly may also be included in the tax amount.
Taxes may be paid to the hotel differently than what we anticipate and include in the payment to you in connection with your reservation. We keep the remaining amount after taxes and fees as part of the payment for our services. The amount we pay the hotel and the location of the hotel where you will be staying are only two of the many elements that affect the tax and fee charge, which also includes any profit we keep.
Booking service fees, which can reach $42 per room per night, are levied by Universalholidays for new reservations. All booking costs for hotel reservations made through Universalholidays are non-refundable in the event of changes, cancellations, or refunds. A service cost of up to $25 per room will be added by Universalholidays on top of any applicable supplier penalty penalties.
We are not the seller collecting taxes and sending them to the relevant taxing authorities, with the exception of what is stated below. As vendors, our hotel suppliers bill us with all applicable taxes included in the amount, and we pay the vendors directly for those amounts. The vendor with whom we reserve or book your travel plans is not a co-vendor of ours. The relevant tax rate, taxability, and types of applicable taxes differ significantly depending on the area.
The tax that we are required to collect and return to the jurisdiction for tax owed on funds we retain as compensation for our services is included in the charge to your debit or credit card for taxes and fees for transactions involving hotels situated within specific jurisdictions.
We regret to inform you that we are unable to arrange a refund of Value Added Tax ("VAT") or comparable taxes levied by nations outside of the United States, nor Canadian Goods and Services Tax ("GST") for clients using our services to book Canadian hotel stays.
If you are paying in other currency then exchange rates at the time of booking are the basis for currency conversions, which should only be used as a rough reference. If you are not insured by your own policy, it is strongly advised that you get some kind of auto insurance. Before driving the rental automobile off the lot, you run the risk of being held liable for any damage to the vehicle that was not reported. "One Way" rentals will incur an extra cost. Should you choose to pick up in one state and drop off in another, this cost may increase. If you will not be returning the automobile to the precise place where you got it up, please double check for any additional costs or fees.
A 24-hour reservation window is implied by daily prices. A reservation term of 5-7 days is implied by weekly pricing. If you return cars at a different time, date, or place than the one specified in the original reservation, you may be assessed additional fees. For instance, the cost of keeping the automobile for 27 hours can be one daily rate plus an hourly rate, half-day rate, or full-day rate for the extra three hours, depending on what the supplier charges.
There are no limits on the amount of miles you can drive with unlimited mileage rates. Certain geographic limitations might still be relevant, though. The maximum number of miles that you are permitted to accrue is specified by the miles per day rates. Any extra miles will be billed at the rate of one mile.
We request drivers to take care of these things:
- They must meet age criteria.
- Must have a credit card of the name of the person the car has registered.
- Driver license must be valid.
Payment Taxes and Fees:
All booking fees for car rentals through Universalholidays are non-refundable in the event of changes, cancellations, or refunds. A $15 service fee will be added to any supplier penalty costs by Universalholidays.
Other Restrictions:
There are some prices that could solely be applicable to vehicles picked up within twenty-four hours of the arrival time indicated on a plane ticket or boarding permit. To ensure that the car rental company will honor your reservation if you need a pick-up time outside of that window, please get in touch with them.
To find out if there are any extra layers of restrictions while using a debit card, please email us or contact the provider. It is possible that a rental company will reject your request if you try to pay using a debit card. Additional limitations can apply to locals. You are advised to confirm by contacting us or the vehicle rental company. You could be held liable for any resulting losses or injuries if you provide false information, negating the company's liability.
Note:
Cancellations made over the phone or within 48 hours of the check-in or pick-up time will not receive a complete refund. There will be cancellation charges in addition to a non-refundable booking service cost from Universalholidays.
The Universalholidays service charge that was applied at the time of booking will be reimbursed if the cancellation is made online 48 hours before the planned check-in or pick-up time.
